Looking for a little snipet
if you type too fast some characters get lost
there is a way of getting all the characters to appear
cant remeber what it was tho

text$=text$+????????!
print "",text$

This would draw all the characters on a 16x16 grid, makes it nice and easy to figure out the ascii code.

char=0
for y=0 to 15
for x=0 to 15
text x*16,y*16,CHR$(char)
inc char,1
next x
next y

I think you're looking for something like Inkey$() that will catch all characters typed fast at the time of execution.

Text$ = Text$ + Inkey$()

This is ok but it will only interogate the keyboard during the time your code is executed, i.e, not during a refresh.

For catching all keys irrespective of what your program is doing, use the Entry$ command. See DBPro Help on both of these commands.
