Actually your not, the way they do it currently is you purchase a 3D Model, and with the model comes the source modification, as you cannot legally sell a FPSC source mod.

Yes, in the free mods all you recieve is the FPSC-GAME.exe, in purchased mods where you have to pay you recieve a model and then FPSC-GAME.exe

Wow. I'm Confused too. You can make a MOD for fpsc and sell it. Just like Plys mod, or Efx mod. There are no extra "models" included with mods...

It's just like anything else that's copyrighted. You can't make a few (or many) changes and sell it because, well... you can't sell someone else's work. It has been suggested that you bundle it with something else that you can sell, a model, game, etc.
