Around a year ago, there was a post on these boards regarding
Project Top Secret. One of the first 100% user generated MMOs. The community develop the concept, and dev teams make the game, and the winning team gets royalties, licensing costs and the game published !
Our team started production around a year ago, out of the 18 initial teams, there are only two left. Our team and a team using *cough* source *cough* making a *cough* half life 2 mod.
So enough chit chat, here are the first 'public pics'.

As it's an MMO there are of course inventories and character customization, face, hair, eyes, clothes, dying things etc etc...
There are 'towns' that act as lobbies where you can chat with players, meet NPCs, buy equipment, setup races etc etc...
There is a selection of different game modes, beasts to mount and abilities to unlock and use on other players.
The client is written in GDK mostly coded by DarkCoder, Custom Networking libs by Benjamin, Around a gazillion other libs by random people.
The server is in Stackless python and coded by me.
Oh and it has Facebook integration !
Any comments, technical questions or anything are welcome. and yes this is a 'real' project, designed as a 'real' mmo from day one, with sharded load balancing servers and auto-patching clients.
