I've looked through all the commands in help that i could see but couldn't find a way of turning off the main light in Dark Basic Pro.

Basically..Im messing around with a side scrolling shooter and i want to turn off the main illumination. I've tried setting ambient lighting to 0, coloring the light to black...etc but nothing seems to turn it off. I want to be able to completely light the game myself but i cant with the standard 'above' light on all the time.

Does someone know how to turn it off?...

"hide light 0" should do it, defaults in pro are normaly 0, for example the bitmap used by the screen and draw commands is bitmap 0 and the default camera is 0, so just hide light 0 and all should be well (oh! set the background to black...that has it`s own weird rules )
