No worries, as I said I've got experience in other modeling packages, it's just the learning curve for the different interface
and tools. I'll be making some tutorials later on youtube.

Yeah, it was intentional, as the reference image I used was also drawn that way it's a variation of a design I found on google.

Thanks for your comments.

lol

Right on topic #

it looks pretty much up-to-standard, you can never say perfect here because theres always something that can be improved lol

The rest bars at the back seem slighty arkward mainly the top one, unless its a type of material or padding, it would be horrible frustrating with metal pushed aginst your neck-shoulder-arm-face depending on your taught stance

other than that great job!

Yes, it's meant to be a firm foam with a plastic core, for a face rest when peering through the scope.

Yeah, I'll give it for free, it's not yet textured, so you might want to do that.

Edit: Here's the blender file You can convert it yourself pretty easily.

You sure your not a modeler and have just been told all your life your a programmer? In other words, you have some skill!

Do you know how to texture yet? Do you own Photoshop? GIMP is free.

Being able to model and code is a pretty sweet place to be - the world is your lobster.

Heh, I was truly quite shocked at how my last few models turned out, having not modeled in months. I do know how to unwrap and texture, I use GIMP (Free software is my friend)

Thanks V =] By the way, how long am I going to have post moderation active? I've not been abusive in ~20 post, nor do I intend to be, I'm a reasonable and intelligent person.

I'm not looking to join any amateur teams, nor do I take requests.
