I have made this code for a menu system i am making but can't get the options sub menu to work can someone please tell me why?

images 2 and 8 are already in use - you need to delete them before re-loading.

What are you trying to achieve?

The rollovers work lovely and when you click on top graphic, it correctly gosubs option subroutine which simply overlays top graphic sprite with a different one and waits for a keypress. Program then aborts.

For a start, you should not gosub without a return.

How is submenu supposed to appear and work?

would it matter if i had multiple loops in my code and keep switching between the loops using sub routines or are there any draw backs to this? cos it is the only way i can think of making my menu work although i don't know it actually would work.
