d/l the model and see for yourself the only detail i go into on the meshes is the actual shape, and that little radar'y thing on the front, as for the scale issues the fpe command doesnt seem to work that well so im used to getting the scaling done in milkshape but as im still new i judge it badly i just created a 'barrell monster' supposed to be twice player height but came out as 5 fpsc map layers tall! so i think a little trial and error is the solution thre
as for the crit i appreciate it, it often leads to handy tips lol
with regards to the texturing now that im using blacksmith 3d and can paint directly onto the meshes im hoping to really add all th e detail in the textures as im hoping is a little evident from my second attempt lol
did u check the updated version in the post nearest the bottom?
im not really big into space ships and the like im learning to model to add custom detail into my own games, just seemed like enterprise was easy place to start, just 6 different cylinder variations and a little rotation here, a spin there and voila, then when i got to grips with extruding and smoothing etc it all began to fall into place lol
one thing though is im having trouble getting the animations i record in milkshape to come through into fpsc, i got the skeleton rigged and the anim recorded but when i export to x file for use with entity creator to get it fpsc ready it doesnt play any anim, any ideas?
