I am trying to make my own game and want to edit a model so that it has a diffrent texture. I need to know what I can use to edit the tga file type (what is it for instance). Also I can't seem to find the files for textures that work on the models (the textures will not display on the models). Can I just use the ones in the textures folder or do I need special ones?

Please help!

You can use the Gimp + DDS Plug-in, photoshop DDS Nvidia plug-in( I think that is what is called), paint.net, etc.

I think you are talking about the stock models (the ones that come with FPSC), if you are talking about those, the textures are in the same folder where the mesh, fpe, thumbnail are.

Thanks for the info about paint.net! It is a good picture editor. I have not tried to put any new textures on the models yet but I hope it works!

Hmmm it didn't work.... I think I need to save the images as "Bitmap Images" but I don't know how to do that... Do I need a special program?

Thanks for the help!
