Dark GDK / Error cannot open include file D3dx9 on premade 2d app

I'm new at darkgdk but i opened a new project(a 2d game) and tried to run it and it said

fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'd3dx9.h': No such file or directory


anyhelp?

Have you followed the steps in the installation guide?

yes i did this. hmmm one second i don't find that in the darkgdk files is it a windows thing or vC++ thing?

YES me too, i also have this error, and i have all the 3 programs installed! what am i doing wrong?

thats in the direcx sdk , did you add the sdk you can do this by going to options\projects and solutions in visual studio and add the paths to directx includes / libs .

ok where is the default path for that lol i didn't change any paths when installing stuff
