Every time I try to run one of the demos that came with dark physics I get an error saying that the compiler has stopped responding.

I thought I installed everything correctly here what I did.

I installed dark physics then I updated it to 1.05 then I downloaded the projects then I activated it and then I ran the demo. Is there something missing? also some of the rag doll commands seemed to be not working (I.E. they appear grey when I use one of the demos and they dont work at all)

P.S. I tried installing the physx drivers but they wernt in the directory that they were sopoused to be in.

It might be vista but not having that would not know.

I get the same thing on my craptop, but everything works on my normal PC, i put it down to inadequate graphics - even though you install direct x 9.0c your graphics card is not actually compatible (ie, too old).

Hey guys, I think I kinda solved it! Here's what I did:

All I did was copy all the .Dll's from the folder Plugins-Licensed to Plugins It will now start when I hit f6 but then when I close the program it gives me a weird error and the compiler crashes. So I don't know it seems to work well but if any of you know how to fix it crashing at the end then please tell me!

F6 is the break out system when you press escape it stop ever things and lets you look at what in the variables.

Does F5 actually do anything.

sound like the Dll plugins may be in the wrong place.

I'll find mine and make a picture for you to compare.

No thing wrong with using F6 just I thought they complied differently but I could be wrong.

I mainly use F4 to check the syntax and F5 to compile and F7 when I need to see where it going.

why it works putting them in the plugin folder anyone guess, at least it working till Mike gives you a reply.

cheers.

Mike was unable to help me yet, he has already given me a few things to try but none worked, So I decided to play around and I got it to work! BTW F4 doesn't work for me it will just pop up an error message (When I'm using dark physics only)

Yes indeed, you NEED to compile with F5 in order to make Dark Physics work.
