So after a while of toughts,i decided to make a handy application that can be packed to every game and the users can configure the settings with clicks.

What is FPS Creator Configurator(FPSCC for short)?

FPSCC is an appliaction that allows users to modify the settings of the controls or graphics with a few clicks instead of the old fashioned "edit the setup.ini".
FPSCC will come in two versions: FPSCC Developers Edition and FPSCC Standard. The developers edition will allow more functions to creators of FPSC games.

It is still in very early stages so you can see that dynamic lights option has a 0 and 1 kinda configuring option that will be changed to simple buttons.Currently theres still a button so it loads from the directory you launched the appliaction, but theres another button that allows you to specify the directory of your game/FPSC.It reads your FPSC/Game version update it has/was built with, you can change a few basic settings, change effects but there is no save function yet,and will be added after the load/interface is done.Big thanks to knxrb for coding support and were figuring out how to implent it in FPSC IP(most probably it will be added).Enjoy this screenshot(i know its not much) and watch out for more!

List of to do:

-Finish the control changing
-Add a few more basic settings
-Fix slight bugs with temporary data saving

Good idea. As you say yourself it still need a human touch so that 0 and 1's are replaced with more logical expressions.

It could be great to have this program as a "setting.exe" file to bundle along with FPSC games.

Good work djmaster
Glad you understand my code and it will be added into FPSC IP

[Edit] To make it simpler for some users I would put groups of controls into groupboxes

Cool. Texture quality should probably be 'high' and 'low' instead of on/off.

here we go,another update on the interface, added test game resolution function, once i finish the main layout,i will finish the control changing, add a function so you have to specify your directory only once, then add a save function and the tool will be soon available for beta testing.i estimate 3 more days,2 of finishing and 1 for tweaking.now lets check the new screenie out

Sounds cool. Please try and consider adding something to control resolution, FPSC looks like pure fail when you've got it set at the default.

control resolution? you mean you can change resolution to 1024x768 ect.? if you mean this its already on my to do list for the normal fpscc, currently this one is fpsc only, not for built games

There is still texture quality on and off. There is no high, medium, low, and ultra low..... Yet.

Cool resolutions! Will that affect the loading time?

it will work with any version, and even if you change your resolution it will lag, resolution is the smallest problem you can have
