Hi everyone!
I just started an a forum account but I\'ve been programming in Dark basic for a while now.
Anyways, does anyone know of a good 3d modeling software that is compadible with Dark basic?
I was thinking of 3d canvas pro but I\'m not sure it is compadible with DArk basic, and Im not sure AC3D looks that good.
Anyone have any ideas?

AC3D is great, I have been using it and it is very easy and powerful, but cannot animate. I heard Milkshape can animate and is ease to use.

If you want to model for free, I recommend Blender or wings 3D.

Blender's great, but to work with dbc, you have to get the .x exporter, which - according to RYD's unending posts - is quite difficult to find, even though it's not.

ive only ever used AC3D, but the only flaw ive found is u cant animate, however ive found a way around this problem.

If u carefully design ur object with limbs in mind (different "objects" in AC3D become limbs in DB with the entire conglomeration of AC3D "objects" becoming one DB object) u can then somewhat animate ur object in DB using limb commands, granted tho it is harder than 3d canvas' animating system

If you can export the object with limbs, you can animate them using Robert the Robots Lightning Limbs app.

Enjoy your day.
