I have been wanting to do some thing like this for awhile now and have been thinking about how to do it and thinking about the best way of doing this uncomplicated and with the least amount of effort for the end users

Yes we do have a round room segment that covers about 4 units.

I'm thinking of a much larger scale round room 12 unit large or more.

Would there be any interests into some thing like this?

Screeny attached (Ignore the crappy textures just a test)

...since it's a custom segment already, putting a custom door segment into the mix shouldn't be much of a problem.

@wizard of id,

This looks great...even with the current texture. Can't wait to see how it evolves further...

Well it will have work with the current segments if it's going to work
in the first place.

The segment can't be drawn like you would a normal segment as it doesn't translate to well in the editor.

It has to be constructed out of sections.The real problem I has constructing this is how many sections?

It's no use if you have to assemble 20 sections to have a working room
users would loose you on section 5.

Now to accommodate the current square segments are easy just by having the 90 degree vertical and 90 degree horizontal part of the room corrected with a normal wall about 2 to 4 units so in effect you don't have a real round room with sides being straight however if you add the completely round floor it will give the illusion of a round room.

So I'm looking and pressing for a 8 part sectioned room segment.
