Anyone know where I can download a good world/level editor type program? And Im not talking about the matrix designers either... the full 3d ones is what Im after. I know the people who made DB sell one, but it's a bit pricey, and I cant pay for that right now... Also, is there anywhere where I can find some royalty-free 3d models for use?

http://www.matedit.com/ here's your matrix builder. (new version is being worked on.) I know you didn't ask for a matrix editor, but it's worth a look if you havn't already.

erm, a full 3D one. I'd suggust cartography shop. Although I have a feeling that that is what you've already seen.

free 3D models at 3D cafe.I'd contact the owners to see if they're royalty free though.

hope this helps.

you could make your own, after all its just saving the positions of 3d objects and then reloading them into your game.

I have a website!!!
So go there: http://www.freewebs.com/darkb/index.htm
on second thought you probably shouldn't
