If i want to have a health bar or a chat box or anything like that always positioned at a fixed location (for example in the left corner) and it should always be in the left corner, even if i move the camera around. How do i do that?

Use sprites!

Sprites are working with the screen, not with the 3D environment, so you can positionate you're sprite everywhere on screen without interacting with youre camera movement, for example.

First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.
