I am also interested in this since my game only needs mouse movement.

So far I haven't found anything that solves the problem.

Would it be possible to change the movement speed to 0, then the arrow keys would still be in effect but wouldn't move the camera at all.

plrfreeze=a very large number? just add a trigger zone above your player start marker with a script that has plrfreeze=99999999999999999999999 and the player cant move for 99999999999999999999999 miliseconds

It did nothing to the player. I don't know scripting - is something missing?

Um, thats not the correct way to do that scurvy, but Im at school, when I get home ill give you an example, anyway guys, that will freeze the player from walking all together...
