I have a multiplayer game I'm working on and in a central room there is a reactor with the plasmaball and plasma flux deacal in the center. What I want to do is have the decals run only when a player is in the room. How would I go about doing this?

Multiplayer doesn't support dynamic entities, though you still could work around that..

Yea, I've noticed that if you switch between singleplayer and multiplayer, while making a multiplyer game, a lot more is possible...

I also dont reccomend decals in multiplayer because FPSC lagsssss sooo bad already. Be clever, maybe you could fake it somehow...

Yea, it's ok to have a few. Also by doing the method I stated above, you CAN have WORKING teleporters in multiplayer!

No, it's not singleplayer AND multiplayer! When your in the editor, making a multiplayer level, you can change over to singleplayer by going file>preferences. then near the bottom it says singlplayer and multiplayer with radio buttons next to them. choose singleplayer and you can edit more options with entities. Be aware that some changes revert and do not work in multiplyer. The main thing is that you can change the gun properties without modifying the .fpi
