Dark GDK / No graphics or models when complied?

Hi All,

New to all this.

Trying to work out what bit I missed in install Vc2008 and GDK.

Had the D3x9.h error and using search, fixed that one.

demos code compiles how ever what I should see I do not, like road terrain demo, I just see a grey road and white back ground no color or bikes.

so any links or something to read that will get me going.

worked out it works ok when using debug F5, how do you make it go on it own which icon or exe.

When one learns how to use all this does that mean will be able to put webcam input in with GDK and they'll work together.
