I was using my ftp connection info wthout any problem more than 4 months. But, 5 days ago, I faced connection problem. I was talking with server provider but they could not solve the problem.

I was using simple FTP conenction command.
domain$="www.domain.com"
user$="monalisa"
pass$="12345"
FTP CONNECT domain$,user$,pass$

This command was working properly. I was adding some program parts and try to expand game contents. But, instead of go archive like 2 months, this command did not work. As well as compiled exe files which compiled one month ago.

I am sure I did not change any ftp user configuration and server could not help me.

Please, urgent help me.

Doesn't connect.

With my prior experience with your server, here are some questions:
1. Are you running an FTP service on the remote system?
2. Is your firewall open for incoming connections on port 21?

1- I am not sure what do you mean: But, it is windows server and FTP user and other config. can be done by plesk panel.

2- I am sure this port is open (I open it firewall exeption list)

ok, using modified ftp example code from the help files, i tried to ftp put file "VNwuzHere.txt" in the above mentioned directories. couldn't see if any of them were successful 'cause ftp find first (the whole example _viewfiles routine), never displayed any files or folders. (and i didn't error check on that)...

trying to view any directory gave me the first error below.

trying to ftp get file on the text file gave me the 2nd error below.



i dunno what any of that means, but someone else might.

check the directories yourself and see if the text file is there anywhere?

by the way, i use similar code to transfer/view files on my (linux) godaddy accounts all the time, so the (simple) routines should have worked, in my opinion

edit: reminder that FTP usernames and passwords are case sensitive (atleast on mine they are). i get "connection established" on yours, so that's prolly not it, but worth mentioning.

yah that code says connection established but still no transfers, no get ftp dir$(), nothing.

just checked it with filezilla...

went to upload the .txt file and server returned lots of error 425 "can't open data connection".

THEN it said "file already exists" so it might be there but can't see it.

trying url + filename = 404 Not Found error in browser.

btw, i don't know which is your primary domain there .net or .com but i looked at the .net source and, man... i dunno if i wanna connect.
