Can the Dark Basic product help one create games on the calibar and quality as The Sims and Civilization or is it more of a Splinter Cell and Sphon Filter

it`s a language, so you can make anything you would like, it`s not a fps maker if thats what you think, if you want you could make Worms, Lemmings, Civ, Populous etc, quite easily, remember those games where originaly written for 90mz PC`s or less (apart from the Sims...but even that is possible in Pro with a madern PC), with a 1ghz or better PC and DB Pro you should be able to make any of the games you just mentioned, speed isn`t an issue, just ability, start small and work up to what you want to make, cheers.
