I got excited about using the excellant map editor for creating level dbo files in Dark Basic andDarkGDK. I bought FPSCreator. Now I find the files are now placed in an encrypted file. Is there anyway for me to access them. Or is this to stop us using them except in FPSC?

After seeing the tutorial on the TGC site I feel a bit cheated!

The tiled method was ideal for the type of game I was designing. Please help!

You use the .dbo from the test level not the built game.

Ahhhh! I tried to find the tutorial I watched but couldn't find it.
Does this change everytime I run the preview then?

I once had this problem. Basically, all you have to do is this:

1. Make your map in FPSC

2. Save it and build it, make sure to specify your level in the build settings

3. Go to your Local Disk C/Program Files/The Game Creators/FPSC/My Projects/ and your game file.

4. Run your game. Play it. Then quit it.

5. Go back to the file folder, and find the Testlevel file. There should be an encrypted file and a folder. Open the folder. Copy and paste the universe.dbo file in your DarkGDK game folder.

6. Also copy and paste any of the textures you find in the FPSC folder in your DarkGDK folder
