Dark GDK / Importing 3D Objects from Maya or 3DS Max

What 3D file formats does DarkGDK accept? Apparently it can 5 different formats but I can't find what they are anywhere. Can it accept fbx files from Maya and 3DS Max? If not - what can it accept? Does it require a plugin?
