I created a level in fps creator using model pack 22 and 23... its kind of big, not too big though, and when i test it, i can see it loading stuff under the progress bar, but it always gets to a spot where it has to "calculate object light" up to 444, and the load moves up a number with about a whole second in between...
and then when the game finally starts to run, it moves VERY slow. is there some way to fix this? i dont want to delete any of my level, i shouldnt have to.
can somebody please help me?

Welcome to the world of FPS Creator.

You've just learnt about the limitations of this program. Can we please see a screen of your level from the editor?

your level compared to mine dosnt sound too big. mine will "calculate object light" up to 651 and has 422 static enitiys. unless your computer has lower specs than mine you havent thought out your rendering. place walls and stuff to block off other areas from being rendered.

Try to split up your level to several levels. And make a door as the finish, then the same door but on the other side as the start.

If you get what I mean

make one map half the level and then a new map the other half of the level...

and then build the game with the maps you created and put them in order and then... TADA!!! multi-level game
