hey guys,
im working on a pong game. i want to add shining effect to the bricks. so my question is, is there a command to do this or do i have to make the etxture shiny. if so is it possible to make a shiny texture in paint. thanks

Well, what kind of shine effect are you looking for? Do you have some sort of example of what you're looking for?

If you mean like making it look reflective or metallic, then spheremapping would probably work. If you want actual light "stars", you could just attach a bright-textured plane to the brick and have it face the camera.

Finally, if you want it to look like it's reflecting light, then you want a phong like effect, for which you'd need to find a shader.
