Size of model: Depends, you need a consistant scale, for example one modeling unit can represent any metric system, be it one inch, or one foot. If you do that correctly, you won't need to resize them in your projects.

If you want modeling references:

As for those other questions, I'm not sure, I'm not a DarkBASIC user anymore, and it's been 3 years since I last used it. As this is the 3D chat section (Modeling), you'll want to ask the questions regarding the programming parts in the appropiate section.

Hope that helps.

I'm not looking to join any amateur teams, nor do I take requests.

¿size of my model?
This is basically something that you have to learn on your own through trial and error. The scale of your models really depend on the scale that you the user chooses, It can be any size....
However what you could is....just load your character into your world editor than model around it. Or if you decide to keep everything to say 1unit = 1 meter then I would do is choose the scale that you would like to model with in your world editor, myself I use 1 unit = 1/2 inch, from there make a wall say 10 ft high and save it out. load it in darkbasic pro, and create a wall 10 ft high through your code, just use an online converter to find the size in meter which is 3. something. From there you mainly just scale and export your object out till you find the match and when you do take note of the size you exported.

Myself as I said I use 1 unit = 1/2 inch or 24 units = 1 ft. when I export, I use Deled's dbo exporter and I scale my objects down in the X,Y,Z to i think it is .00125 which scales my objects to meet the 1 unit = 1 meter scenerio.... as i said abit hard to explain.

as far as frames for a walk animation, that also depends on you....myself i would use either 24 or 30 frames, usually 30
your main key will be either 1 / 12 /24 or 1 / 15 / 30 depends on what you decide.
Note that NTSC American standard video plays at 30 fps
Pal Europian video standard is 24 fps.......

The speed you put in you code depends on the framerate your using.
If you want to control your characters speed correctly. set your sync to 30 or 60 and set your speed based upon that...DO NOT keep your sync rate at 0 for this.

Im kinda surprised you asking these types of questions after being a member here for so long...but anyways I hope this helps some
