Hey, There is a form that discusses this exact problem in the DBPro section. Look up "TrueSpace .X format won't load texture in DBPro". This is my problem. X files made by TrueSpace 7.6 with bone animation don't load in properly, with missing textures and/or no animation. Apparently Lee fixed this in DBPro, but I suppose it was never fixed in Dark GDK or else I wouldn't be posting...

????????????Any ideas how to get his ear???????????????

or, how to fix the problem ourselves???

Well if you could convert the model or save it in a supported format you could come across the problem. Although this isn`t a real solution.

Not a bad idea, but does anyone have a good idea where to find a Good converter for X to 3ds files? And did I mention "Free"... One that could take the high quality X file TrueSpace pumps out, and convert it properly without missing animation or anything!

Argh! Finding one is nearly impossible unless you want to fork over some cash...

So does anyone know of some serious code that can load in other types of 3D files with animation? Say maybe the .dae file? Any other code to load in other 3d files would be appreciated...
