FPSC Classic Product Chat / FPSC Compatability- Help?

Hey guys,

I han'nt actualy started my dev. proccess but, when i do,
i want to be sure on compatability issues.

Now heres my delema, I'm really interested in alot of the products
TGC presents, but i'm worried that if i get a product, i wont be able to use it. My emidiate goal in to use fpscx9 with the efx mod,
& dive deep into design with the other softwares,
like 'tree magic' and 'character shop'.

will i be able to use this software together?
Also, what system specs does fpsc work best on?

If you guys can point me in the right direction,
it'd be greatly appreciated!

Unless you had EFX BEFORE the "Reza Igi conflict" you can't use it for anything as far as I know. Also, EFX won't let you use it in commercial projects anyways, unless you somehow get them to sell you a commercial use license.

Also, FPSC is best used on Windows XP, but it works on Vista as long as you have Direct X9 installed. X10 won't work with FPSC X9, unless you also have Direct X9.

As for using "Tree Magic and Character Shop" probably work best on the latest update of FPSC, but EFX only runs of V1.07-1.09, like all the mods. So YES it is possible to use all of these together, but it's gonna take a lot of goveling to the EFX developers if you want to use it.

Yes thank you, but one thing is still not clear,
Excluding efx, could I use fpscx9 with apps like cartographer,
sky matter, or tree magic to imrove my game anviroment?
If so, how can you tell? Is it stated somwhere?

Sorry for not being clear enough before guyz,
I was typing on an ipod at the moment, so it was a little harder.
Basically what i'm asking is,
'What is the relation between FPSC & The DARK products?
also, How far does it extend?'

ex.~ Can physics or A.I. be exported from DARK to fpsc?
What are the compatability conditions?

Please bear with me on these questions & My Noobility.
