I noticed that under the buy 1000 points or 2000 points button that there is a second button saying that you get them for free. When I click on it it says that I have to complete an offer.Whats the catch ???

What you see isn't always real....

when you sign up for the free points you have to choose an offer like E-Music. And when you do that it will say what you can do.....

It's just like a buy one get one free thing in the shops... You buy something else and get the points for free...

You can argue semantics and say that it's not truly free because you have to spend some money on something else, but you don't pay for the points therefore they are free...

Agreed. On a side note, when did you become a moderator Thraxas?

Why does everyone want to stomp on me? I agree that your point seems
very logical and that is what we live by but I'm stepping outside the box on this one. I think that's why so many of us lack an individual self. We comply with the terminology of other men, just because they said that was the way an average person is "supposed to think." I can't change your minds if you stand that solid but I don't even want to get into economics and all that jazz so I'll leave it at the doorstep... (where most great thoughts are left).

I'm not trying to stomp on your argument... I just view it differently to you...

I don't think you needed to edit out your posts because people had a different opinion than you and I certainly don't believe that because I don't agree with your definition of free that I don't have a mind of my own. In a perfect world your ideal of free would work, but unfortunately we live in a world driven by money and so 'free' as a concept is fundamentally flawed...

Free = costing nothing... Therefore nothing can ever be truly free... Free to one individual maybe, but at some point somewhere somebody gave time/money for it, so it wasn't free for them.

I like how you edited it 5 times to get that perfect
