btw. The game is not made with Karma 3D engine. ... It's based on ODE (open Dynamics Engine)

Found another nice site about all that pysics stuff:
http://www.geocities.com/vordermankett/
It's a port of ODE to BB3D ... so if it could be used with BB3D why not with DBPro ... I don't know if the DLL works with DBPro but it should be possible. Maybe someone is smart enough to port it. (Raven?)

Here's a better idea, why not push someone off some stairs in real life... record it with a camcorder, then send it to America's Funniest Home Videos or You've been Framed!. With only 4 "Hillarious Bloopers" you will have enough dough to buy a kick ass PC and DarkBasicPro, with which to make a next generation "pushing off stairs game" with sparkly realtime shadows, reflections and lighting!!

It could be called 'Super Stair Dismount Zero Alpha II - Special Edition : Hyper Fighting'

MAN I should patent that...

Sounds more like a new and yet more unoriginal version of a Street Fighter game...j/k

lol While I appreciated Capcom originally invented the 2d 1-on-1 multiple character choice beat-em up genre, u probably can't get any less original than the 40 or so (almost) exact copies of SF2 release as sequels/updates... almost as annoying as 3 different versions of FIFA a year...

The whole physics actually makes the final score quite random, I can use the same angle and force 5 times in a row and get 5 seperate scores

I wonder how long Hubdule was playing for thou, cause i downloaded took 5mins to try it out and then posted that
Some insane scores. Be funnier if the model was actually a pretty sweet model of a superhero

Nah! Shenmue was pretty poor on gameplay, IE not enough of it... more of a graphical adventure - dunno why people like it so.

-dunno why people like it so.

I believe I've seen 2 games who were THAT overhyped before release...Shenmue and MGS...At least one of them had actual gameplay.

It depends on your taste.

Shenmue's my favourite too.

An enveloping storyline, lovely graphics, b e a u t i f u l music and intersting characters.

Who wants cake? I've got a little slice of hell for everyone.

ya remember those games where a line of keys game and you had to press them ... that is the entire game right there.

it was basically an interactive movie - and wasn't a particularly original one niether hahaa
Anyone who watchs even an ouze of animé will know whats gonna happen. I was glad i played round a friends, only thing i found good was it was a graphics fest - sadly that apparently makes a good game now for the egg fried brain generation

I did take back Shenmue in disgust after 3 days of trying to enjoy it... but I know many people who loved it. Personally I found it too linear, the plot to generic and there was waaay too much waiting around between things happenning. Plus I've always hated the qtr style Dragon's Lair type action. Beautiful graphics tho, and I love the Arcade games, but you can get them for Mame
