Hey! I've been using anim8or for a couple days now to make my character model for my program. And just today i had to redo the bones so that i could do skinning effectively. So I started adding new bones, but when i go to add objects those objects are rotated in a weird way, and do not match the same rotation of the objects are in the object editor. Why is this?

I also just came across another problem. When ever i go to click on a bone to rotate it, it automatically points straight up making rotating it with precision very hard. So why are both of these things happening?

i've noticed that anything beyond object mode is buggy. not only that, but you can't export anim8or skins to any format except native (.an8) so it is pointless to skin models in anim8or. try using CharacterFX or MilkShape 3D

Are you sure about the exporting? I'm in object mode and it has the usual 5 or so files but when i go into figure and sequence it says .3ds and .an8 when i click export. But thanks for the other programs!

EDIT: I'm using CharacterFX now, much easier then anim8or! Thanks very much!
