Thanks to all for your words.

With this alone demo we wanted to demonstrate that the DarkBasic is really powerful and that not alone the power this in the program and/or language that you use. That but it cares it is people's genius when he makes something. There is much potential among people of this forum. We have to be able to take out it among all.
I will be charmed of helping in all that can.

We already have an ace up our sleeve - DBPro comes in a box!

I have to check it out tonight - but I can already hear a lot of tech demos being worked on in the distance , about time people started having fun with DBPro.

I think the only fault I can really find is that the very commonly used baby (in the fetal position) model is fairly poorly done. For a model that's being shown that much and is the focus of a lot of close up shots, you really need to make it smooth and well-polished. Other then that it was great with some interesting arty shots and an excellent music score.

My 400mhz couldn't actually run it, the screen just froze while music plaed in the background and I had to End Task it to close it. Ended up having to run it on my brothers computer which is substantially faster.

Well Actually the Geforce4 MX 440 is like the default card now a days for non die hard gamers. I understand this is a tech demo so it pushes things a bit, but if someone was writting a game and it wouldn't run on a Geforce4mx then the are going to miss a large croud of people. I would have to say I see more people with card less then Geforce4mx then greater.

I have a geforce4 mx 440 and it ran like a dream on my system Loved it, very inspiring, and the bgm has gone into my winamp playlist

Only thing that bothered me was at the very end i got this picture of clouds, which i expected, which then faded out.. then it immediatly came back and stayed there until the end. occasionally i could see some movement behind the picture just sneaking out the bottom.. i have this feeling it wasnt supposed to be there and probably missed the last (and probably best) evolution T_T Just clouds.. then the little message 'i can see my face, can you?' well no, i cant :/

p4 2.4ghz, 256ddr ram, Geforce4 MX 440

Yeah, that's not supposed to happen. I got a final screen.

Personally I didn't understand it-- it didn't seem to follow 'evolution' at all. Or growth. But it was still a damn neat tech demo!!

I could follow it.

1st scene: It was showing what DBC could do until it melts away into the baby, which signifys the beginning of scene 2, or the final effect of evolution.

2nd Scene: Proves that inproving anything is a good thing, it shows Dark Basic in its evolved Dark Basic Pro state, and what it can do. This scene ends when the building area fades into the chalkboard and primitives.

3rd Scene: Describing Dark Basic as it was, puny DBC.

4th Scene: A final demo of what the evolved Dark Basic could do.

Scene 3 showed the contrast between the old graphics of fuzziness, noise and horrible graphics and then it just suddenly switches to the new, shiny, smooth graphics

Nice to see some decent tech demo stuff surfacing in dbp....
