I ran into a strange texture error these days:
I made a room segment and every time i lit it, the texture disappeared from time to time depending on player distance or view angle:
pic one with texture:
[href]null[/href][href] [/href]

pic two with the error:
[href][img=http://img132.imagevenue.com/loc794/th_99142_texture_error1_122_794lo.jpg][/href]

I use FPSC 1.14.004
i had this with several meshes, so I guess it can be a bug in the engine.
anyone who experienced this? All input is highly welcome...

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

Does it have a shader effect because this often happens to me when I affix a shader to a segment. If it's not that, it could just be a portal error.

And I still love that movie in ur sig, daarboven.

I think this is shaders try turning them off and try then never had this myself but doesn't mean you wont.

If not try a newer version (aka beta) and see what happens

Yep.It's the lightmap shader. Which in the first place makes me happy since I can go on with my level design, but in the second just plain sucks since I really liked the look of it with the shader turned on.
Now back to the drawing board and thank you both for the quick help!!!

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.
