Hello all,
I have fianlly decided to offer my shader coding services for sale. It works like this:
$9.99 for 5 fully custom programmed shaders for Entities, characters etc

No hidden chargers, thats it. Some may say the price is high. I say that you are hiring a HLSL programmer, and in the real world, hiring programers costs alot more than this.

To see samples of my work, please visit my shader thread located in the FPSC Chat board.

My contact email for all things sales related is: [email protected]

Im currently in the middle of getting a paypal account up and running. Please reply to this thread if anyone is interested in the service being offered.

Yours

I dont know if Fpsc supports it, but I give you $7 (or more) for 1 weaponshader.
A shader with normal and specular support that reacts realisticly to light.

And they, my fellow friend, are idiots. A great price for a great pack of excellent shaders . The price is about right, but I'm afraid I'm not expecting any shaders right now, but maybe later . Do you make segment shaders as well?

Very limited indeed, as nearly any shader applied to a segment will screw up the lightmapping. Hopefully, this'll be fixed someday.
Good luck with this. What program are you using to code these shaders? FX Composer?

@Roger Wilco: Yes, both FX Composer, Dark Shader, and some final coding in notepad.

Looks nice! Does it also reflect in the direction of the light (like if the light is behind the player, then the back of the gun reflects light)?

@CoZ: VERY COOL

@Roger Wilco: You can see that on the weapon already check the back of the weapon.

I could well be interested in this, I thought your previous work to be very impressive.

I'd be mainly interested in Heat Haze, I know you were working on one before, did that work out?

And I think $9.99 for 5 shaders to be very good value for money.

@CoZ: Okay, just asking, as your relief mapping shader had a sort of reflection in a constant direction. Speaking about reflections, have you gotten specular texture maps to load properly/get applied properly for normal entities?
By the way, is the bloom from your DLL-mod or has it been implemented into Blue High?

@Roger Wilco: Yes, I have managed to get specular maps to load properly, and the bloom is from my .dll MOD.

CoZ, I'll be dropping you a line soon. Pretty straightforward stuff, it's actually more of an edit/improvement of an existing shader. Though I only need 2 of them... I'll drop you the line as soon as I get paid, I don't want to waste your time if I don't have to. Talk to you soon

EDIT: Just sent the request... hope to hear from you soon :0

Wow CoZ, $10 for 5 shaders is so inexpensive, I mean, that is soo inexpensive. I mean each shader must consume alot of your time, yet for such a low,low price. I would figure maybe 10-15 for one shader. You must be a very generous person

Would it be possible though, if you could show me how the basic stock fpsc shaders work sometime? Its totally cool though if you don't have the time, or just don't care to. Just because I have a big modelpack in the works and it would be really cool if I could implement normal maps or something.

Idk let me know what you think, I just need to learn how to use normal maps in fpsc sometime, by someone or some tutorial.

Hey CoZ, I need help with your segment shaders. I can't get them to work properly on my game, have you got a copy of the segment FPS file you used that I can look at?

Hey all,
Sorry for my late/short/or no reply(s) to your emails, I have been rather busy with work, and finding time to check both of my email address, reply to you all, and create the shaders requested is rather slim...so please hang tight while I process you all so to speak.

OMG i am going to buy some of your shaders! Can you do any of these:
-HDR
-Bloom
-Reflection + bump mapping
-Metal (with modifyable reflection) - reacts to light + bump mapping
-Glass (slight reflection, and refraction) - reacts to light + bump mapping
-Weapon - reacts to light + bump mapping
-Wood (with modifyable reflection) - reacts to light + bump mapping
-Motion Blur + bump mapping
-Explosion Effect
-Water - reacts to light, bullets, and has a modifyable colour, reflection, and movement + bump mapping as texture
-TV screen that reads from an AVI file + bump mapping

Do not start on these yet, allow me to come up with the money first

thanks
