A moving HUD is not possible with the stock FPSC engine. You'd need a Mod.

As for the black and white, you'd also need a Mod. Not necessarily a source Mod, but at least to apply a full screen shader to give that effect.

Yes, for the moving HUDs, by using the "SetHUDX" and "SetHUDY" actions I've added.

The Mod will not do your full screen shader for you, though.

it is possible, with a little imagination :p, you have to load some images... and give it different X and Y coordinates, then make it hudhide = 1 and with a timerstart and timergreater, you can have a animated hud. Or you could make different pictures and load them all up. Then do the same as I said above.

Good Luck...

Depending on how he is intending to use the moving HUD, that may be extremely memory intensive, Red Eye.

@Plystire: That is true... I dont know how he wants it?
I made a motion tracker, (with 20 frames), and you are right, in the game (FPSC), I lost 3-4 frame per second. So whithout it I had 48 and now i have 42-45.

@Replay the Master of Time: Making shaders isnt very difficult. Making it FPSC ready is difficult. DarkShader is a great program. Then you need to know some of HLSL coding, to make it FPSC - Ready.

or if you want everything black an white, go through all the textures with photoshop and turn the textures black and white

but that would take forever :\

There are alot of tutorials out there... Make Shaders with the free software FX Composer (search on google)...And then Learn HLSL Coding, And you can easily import it to FPSC...

But there is another way to make everything blak white...
Make a 1024 - 768, new file to paint,,, in paint.net.... Fill in everything with dark grey (NOT BLACK) Then add a alpha mask, search for the plugin on google (alpha mask plugin paint.net)... Add a little noise (black) effect, then again but now white...), and then a very little frosten glass effect, and ter you have it... everything black white... (you will see difference between colors...) (so if there is a light, shall we say red.. then you will see the light red/grey...) hope this helped yuu out a little bit...

It won't turn everything black and white. That'll just cover everything in a grey tint.

There is actually a shader that comes with DarkSHADER that makes everything grayscale. I don't know how to make it FPSC ready though.

that could work as i still want some colour, but will it be opaque - can't see through, translucent - semi see through or transparent - see through?
