I seem to have troubles with my Dark GDK and 3d objects, when I tried to load a .3ds model I downloaded, the program would freeze up and i'd have to end its task. I also tried the 3d objects tutorial, using the .x file that came with it, but when the program runs, I cannot see it, it doesn't freeze or anything, has the blue screen background (unlike the .3ds model program) but I cannot see anything.

Anyone know of this issue?

.3ds files don't really work well with gdk/dbpro. If you convert it to a .x file it will most likely work. If you use 3ds max get a copy of the Panda exporter

Yeah okay, I will grab that converter sometime, but... Both the .x models included in the 3d Objects tutorial don't work/don't show, even when I compile the code without modifying it.

Is there something to fix that?

Nevermind, something must have been wrong with the installation of Dark GDK, I just reinstalled it and it works fine thanks anyway!
