I am not quite sure how this is done. I know there are the dbWait and dbSleep commands but that pauses the whole program. I want something that will make an object appear so many milliseconds after a button is pressed, while the rest of the program still runs. Hit me with your ideas!

thanks man that really helped! much appreciated.

edit: ok lol that wasnt really what i was looking for. I wanted a timer that when a key is presses (not held) a certain amount of time passes then an object appears.
