Dark GDK / project creation issue

I'm attempting to do the "hello world" project included in the tutorials section, but when I create the project, there isn't anything in it. I'm using visual studio c++. It lets me select dark gdk - game from the wizards, but it doesn't come up with anything after I create the project. Other newly created projects do fine. Any ideas?

check to see if your solution explorer is open. go into view and click solution explorer, or press ctrl+alt+L. if it opens, click on the Main.cpp under source files.

Hope this helps. let me know if it doesnt
