Hello all.

I host (and maintain) a live audio stream from the US to Peru about twice a week, I would like to create an application where I (the server) could directly chat to my client in Peru (To make sure the stream running fine). I was thinking about doing this in VB, but I thought DBPro should be able to do it... Plus I know DBPro far better than VB... But even what I know about DBPro is not much.

If this is indeed possible, does anyone know of some good tutorials for DBPro along these lines, or willing to help me along?

i dont think this is posible but.... im new so hopefully it is but as far as i no its not (you dont have to listen to me i dont no anything)lol

I'm sure that it's possible with some C++ knowledge to write up a DLL (which I something I don't have - sorry) that takes core commands to do this type of thing.

You can send sounds through DbPro by using NET MESSAGE SOUND, but the tough part would be reading any mike input, and working with your client's ?computer? on the other end.

That's what they WANT you to think...

i'm pretty sure its possible DBPRO has the ability but you would probably have to use dlls and other external resources.
... i just have no idea how onjes supposed to start since i'm new to coding
