The only hands I remember him distributing appeared to be his - I don't recall any accusations regarding them being from another game.

Anyways, looks great! I'll be sure to check it out in a bit.

He released one or 2 illegal things.

The most obvious being his "Red Devil Hand System", which was ripped straight out of Counter-Strike: Source.

I dont believe you, because:

1: The first release of your "hand system" was a low poly "test", which was clearly just a simple bad poly reduction job on Valve's model.

2: You made no credit to Valve when you released the hand system, you took full credit to their work and denied anything otherwise.

Is anyone else having texture problems with those figures??? I just get a figure standing there. It has NO texture.

I do however get texture when I turn my graphics down and have no lights on the field.

oh pleaaase....not another bashing of someone in his donation thread.
Red Devil gives out a freebie and someone pokes his stick in the dirt again. Let's keep this place nice and friendly or at least polite. My suggestion:
Make a new thread, mark it with [RANT] and I will happily ignore whatever is inside. Others may like to wallow inside on their own risk.

I#ll give the translation of RD's text a shot:
Come on People!
You should not talk of what you don't know exactly!
I'm a 3d-model-artist and workc for Valve on occasion.
So please spare me with accusations for the future.

I don't think i have to justify myself all the time.

PS: I found some users bashing others to heighten themselves over and over again !
(translated from the top of my head, so bear with me I'm not a native speaker myself)

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

Reminds me of "I-Robot". Yes; let's try to cut down on the accusations of late...it grows tiresome.

I grow tired of people jumping at freebies and then getting angry at people trying to point out suspicious people or media.
I am completely fine with this Model if RD made it and it's his own work 100%.

@some kid:

Do you honestly think I would have made those statements if I didnt have proof to back it up?

CSS hands in Fragmotion (unedited file, decompiled as hands_reference.smd)

Red Devil's hands in Fragmotion (unedited file, opened as Hand_left+right.ms3d)

That's all the proof I need that the models are not his. But what about RD's proof that he does work with Valve, and had their full permission to release their Counter-Strike: Source rig.

Hmmm?

I do believe that some people change, and you are not really giving him the chance to. Just because someone was once something, doesn't mean they still are.

The past is the past. And the present is now. And this present that RD contributed with (the robot), was a nice one indeed!
Thanks a lot for the freebie, very nice model!

@aaagreen nice pics, I saw the same type of thing on a different artist, about a year ago,It was a pig and cow. I suggest, Let it go. Work on your own models, and don't worry about everybody elses

...breathing and punctuation, michael x: look into both of them.

The NS-5W is a terrific addition to anyone's library. It was kind of Red Devil to share it here.

That's the only thing that should be under scrutiny at the moment.
