I didn't get a chance to do anything else, so here's my entry:

Edit:

Here's a gold medal for the winner. Be cool to put stuff like this in our avatar space like the 3dtotal forums do.

Mike S, you are sticky-ing way too may of your threads. Put them into the 3d resource thread so there aren't things like a contest with two entries stickied at the top of the board. The more stickies there are, the less likely any of them will get read.

You don't need to say sorry.

Who are you to tell him to do this. As a mod, he has that right.

Well TBH he has a point. At the moment we have 10 stickies. Two of these are for the current 3D compo, one is a 3D compo model database, one is a 3D compo archive, one is talking about the new 3D compos, two are for a 3D compo which ended awhile ago, one describes how to export to Blender, one has 3D resources, and one talks about searching for a moderator. I mean, seriously--can't we contain the 3D compo stuff to one or two threads total? And why do we have stuff pertaining to compos that are over? And couldn't we put the 'How to export to Blender' thread in the Great 3D resources?

Nice Idea! I've made one too! Thought a 3D trophy should be 3D!

Perhaps one day we can convince Lee and his team to implement a system similar to that of BOTB award over on the FPSC forums. Perhaps with a trophy appearing next to the user's Avatar, but unlike the BOTB system, the trophy can only go to one user, which will then go up for grabs in the next competition.

No idea how easy that would be to implement, but it might gather a tad more interest!

Anyway... Back on topic (Sorry!) - I don't know whether or not I have missed the voting, but I vote:

AndrewT

May I suggest a polygon war for the next compo? First we start with a theme, any theme will do to base our model off of. Then we have two entry categories, low poly and high poly. We have a winner for each category. Then we choose which of those two are the best for the ultimate winner, deciding the outcome of the polygon war...MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *cough-cough* ...ahm...excuse me...

I've already chosen the theme for the next 3D competition. BiggAdd will be setting this one up, and it will start when the newsletter is released. I'm always open to ideas though.
