Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to DarkBasic, but I do have some

knowledge of programming. I have never really messed with timers

before, and they get a little confusing. What are TIMERS good for

in a fps?

Also if anyone can explain how to use them that would be a alot of

help.

In return I do great 3d graphics and I will return the favor if

you need something. I would be more than happy to do so for the

generous help.

Thanks again

Timing things, what else?

...

Anyways, you'll need it for timing AI movement and functioning as well as any certain amount of time projectiles "go off" after being shot.

TDK wrote a great tutorial on timers, you can find it here.

That's what they WANT you to think...
