So I'm trying to figure out how to create my own segments with normal maps and spec and all and I've followed the tutorial on it, but I keep getting this error "Runtime error 7001 mesh number illegal at line 10927"

I've got a _D.dds, _N.dds, and a _S.dds. I've also copied a .FPS from another segment and made it unique to these.

This is incredibly complicated for what it should be. Whats wrong here?!

Thanks

It is most likely your FPE file upload it here and we will take a look and try and help you fix it.

If you dont want to upload here email to me i will be able to fix it also are you using custom meshes.

Okay, heres the .FPS file. Do I need a .FPE for a segment? I've been playing with it for about 4 hours and only recently got the mesh to load. The textures still don't show up.

Oh I've gotten this message soo many times...Make sure you have the right file path for every mesh (I'd take a look, but I'm on a mac right now). Remember that you need the file type at the end too (EX: meshbank\user\mesh.x)

Basically, if it says mesh number illegal, it means there's a problem with something that has to do with the model file in the .fps

If that doesnt work, check how many partmodes you have. If the last part is 10, then you need to include the 10 AT THE BEGiNNING, where it says Partmax =
Also include that same number where it says lastmeshmax =

A picture says a thousand words.
