ok i no its a DB thread, but several of u also use Pro so im asking neway:

why is it that in DB u dont have to type a directory, meaning this wil work, provided the image and the program r in same folder:

load image "imade1.png",1

but wen i type this in Pro it cant load it, i have to type the whole directory:

load image "C:/Program Files/Dark Basic Software/Dark Basic/Image1.png",1

wat am i doing wrong?

Loading images into...
GET OUT!

I have used the trial DBP so Im no expert but I think you might be just selecting the files in the media viewer without actually copying them to directory, there should be a button or underlined text or something saying "copy to directory".
but its about a year since i did the trial so...

can't read?

Looking into tutorials is always a good idea.

They are what helped me when I first started in DB.

Which version of DbPro are you using? 7.2 or 7.3?

That's what they WANT you to think...

[Translation]
You'll have to save it as a DBPro project file as well because for some weird reason if you save it as a DBA only it won't be able to load media in the same directory using relevant paths.
