Hello
I am trying to use in FPSC a 3d model I made of my own house
but I can't find a way to make it work!
I did the model in AUTOCAD 2005, I know dwg file is not properly 3d so I tried to convert it with many programs but nothing seem to work.

which sould be the right way to use an external made 3d model made in FPSC?
Is there a way to convert DWG file in a valid FPSC file?

thanks a lot

You're going to get an "unhelpful title" post from a mod very soon

This is how I do it:

-I create my model/import it into Milkshape 3D
-Then, I go to file>export>direct x 8.0 file (this does work, though some people claim it ruins their models, however I haven;t experianced this)
-Deselect animation then click OK
-Get your model (.x) and textures into one folder
-Download the "Make entities from X files tool" from the FPSC website
-Put your model and textures into the Make entities from X files directory "files>entitybank>user"
-Run the program and set your object up correctly
-Once exited, copy the files folder in the Make Entites From X files into your FPSC creator folder, and click yes to Merge.
-Run FPSC and add your model.

Hope that helped.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.
