I've been on forums for a while and I still think I'm kinda newb so I have a right to ask this:

How do you do so, that an enemy walks on a waypoint and when the enemy spots the player, the enemy stops walking the waypoint and attacks player.

Is this even possible?

Enemies do that automatically, I think.

I believe so, too. Give them the default waypoint script and if it doesn't include it already, add in:

:plrcanbeseen=1:shootplr

The "shootplr" initiates the enemy's shoot script, so you could make that anything you wanted to attack the player. Best of luck!

what about with the model pack 4 zombies?
when i put them on a waypoint and give them the pace script they just follow the waypoint (even when they can see me) and go back the way they came. ?

my motto: if it looks awesome, it probbably is awesome.

shallowness is fun!

If you use the pace10 script this should do it, the basic script is follow waypoint and hunt player, so when the enemy sees you it, in this script, back away while attacking (as it was written for enemies with guns) Zombies are slightly different as they use a melee attack, you may need to alter the response in the script to set the entity to walk forward instead of backwards!

Hope this helps!
