Hello everyone.

I've been off the game-creators site for about a year now, and now I'm back. I was looking through the product line and I saw 2 game engnes that caught my interest, The Abyssal Engine and Leadwerks Game Engine 2.0.

I'm considering buying only one of them. My question is which one is really and truly better at making real-time game worlds and why. Does anyone have any practical experience in using both engines?

I'm not looking for marketing hype - honest reviews of both engines would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone knows of any independent reviews that have already been posted, please let me know.

Thanks alot

Unless you are experienced in C++ these may not be for you. These both are more for professional development and not for dbpro.

tatts, dont say that, most people overrate the difficuly of C++.

Yes, it is advanced but at some times dark basic is harder than it

You just have to learn how it works and the rules it got, its not really that hard.

And i dont know that much about Abyssal but i know leadwerks is very easy to use and gives good results.
