I am trying to draw only a portion of an image to the screen in my program. There are no functions in GDK (or DBP) that I am aware of however to do such a thing. Is there any way I can easily do this without a lot of fairly complex programming (such as manually writing to the screen)? I can't pre-calculate the images because the area that is being drawn will change every loop (plus I am drawing multiple times per loop). Any insight into this problem would be greatly appreciated.
