With this new virus going around, I think we should stop entering our credit card number to websites. Can I possibly order model pack 10 through the mail or some other way? If not, when will the virus stop functioning?

Thanks and warning you

...no, the model packs are only available via electronic delivery.

New viruses are released everyday, unfortunately. No one is 100% safe from the potential threats.

You realistically have but two choices:

1. Live in absolute fear, and never conduct transactions via the internet.

or

2. Use all of the steps and antivirus methods that are available to you, making certain that your machine is as virus free as is humanly possible, taking the leap of faith that you'll be fine, and cautiously conduct transactions online in the future.

Good luck to your in your future endeavors...

Well, thanks for the advice, but I think ill just wait out this virus, my friend got it on his CPU, and it started stealing money from his bank account, and now all his applications don't work. But I won't hesitate to buy the pack after this paticular virus ends.

Thanks

Someone depleted $199 from my debit card when I bought something from Amazon last year. Luckily, I caught it in time, and called the business where the purchase was made, and they refunded it for me. Since then, I use a seperate secure credit card for all of my online purchases (it has a $300 limit), and keep my savings in a seperate account. This way, if they 'get' me online, they can't deplete my entire savings Just a thought for you...

I just want to be safe. and since I don't have a credit card, my dad sometimes lets me use his. What if I lost $1000 from his account!

Personally i think you dont need any of those programs that apparently stop you getting viruses they are a complete waste of money and if you are smart and have half a brain you wouldn't go to dangerous sites in the first place. I have been using my PC for 3 years without a virus prevention application and i havnt got 1 virus ever.

Just be careful what you visit use a secure credit card/ paypal and you will be fine no need worrying over something that if you're careful will never happen.

You could always get a prepaid mastercard to make online transactions with. This is what I have for online purchases, someone can try and hack this card all they want, it would'nt get them anywhere as the only money that is ever on it is what I put on it, and I don't put anything on it till the time of my purchase.

It's pretty much foolproof this way.

I've had worse, once AVG detected over one hundred and fifty infections.
