Hey to all.
I have a problem exporting my models from both truespace 7.6 and 3ds max 2009. I have a plugin for max which allows me to export as .x and obviously truespace does this without a plugin.

The problem is this:
When I save out my model as a .x it seems to export but I get no tga saved out with it and when I put the model into a directory in FPSC, FPSC does not see it.

What export settings must I use?

If you can't get what you want, take what you can get.

I haven't exported very many things out to .x, but I believe you'll need to texture it within FPSC as the .x file format doesn't package the texture with it. Make the model, unwrap it, texture it, export .x, import it into FPSC and then import the correct texture. When you apply the texture inside FPSC, it will all line up correctly because of the UV Data. I've never used FPSC, but there should be a way to apply textures... it's a game engine after all
