No. The source code for X10 hasn't been released yet.

I think it will be right after the migration as this version I believe (unless more updates happen before the migration) is the version we will be getting.

Nope. Lee has no plans to release X10 source, he told me personally himself.

And even if he would release it you would need DarkBasic X10 which I guess only Lee got.

What you should do is wait for the migration version they are adding airmod features from what Lee and Airslide have said.

There will never be a FPSC X10 source release and that means NO mods for X10 at all. But after the migration we will have a source code released to us which will be powered of a new version of DBP that i believe lee is writing now so migration will come soon after.

Hope that answers all your questions.

Seriously? AirMod will work with FPSC X10? If it does, can it work with guns that FPSC X10 came with? It would be sweet if it did work! Where'd you find out??

By the way, (OFF TOPIC) does anyone that does own FPSC X10 think the migration is really stupid? I mean, think about it. FPSC X10 is about 20 more U.S. dollars than FPSC X9 and X9 Users are practically getting X9 and X10 for just 50 dollars instead of paying what they should for both: 120$.... Just saying... That probably was really mean, but still.

No, AirMod will not work with X10, that'll only happen after the source has been released, if at all. Hopefully it will, though I hear the migration will have some of the AirMod features already implemented.

As to the migration; it's worse than that. You can right now get the full version of X9 after completing the promotional stuff for free (that's what I did, I bought something through the promo stuff that i was going to get anyways. The promo thing cost me about $9, I got what I wanted, plus X9 thrown in to sweeten the deal).

X10 on the other hand cost me and every other X10 user $70. Had
I not bought X10, I'd get all the X10 features in the migration in X9 and I'd only have paid $9. And everyone else who has bought X9 basically gets X10 for free. The X10 users on the other hand get the features X10 should have had from the beginning. This migration version is basically what X10 was supposed to be if you ask me. Instead, it got branched off as a separate product and will now be re-fused in the form of the migration version.

At JAMOY, Migration = FPSCX9 owners get FPSC X10 for FREE. That simple. But I'm still curious about the migration. So, only X9 users with Vista will get X10?

Basically if you install it on XP, you get X10 without the DX 10 exclusive features. If you install it on Vista, you'd be able to use those features. That's my understanding of it anyways.

No like others have said airmod does not work with x10 because the x10 source code has not been released.

Unfortunately your not looking at it the right way, we get fpsc x10 but you also get fpscx9 and your probably think well why should i care i have x10 but in the end you will care because you don't have some of the features you have, now if you don't want the migration then fine but don't take it away from us for basically no reason. A lot of the features you have in x10 were actually planned to be in x9 when it first came out. So please don't complain

Quite honestly, there aren't that many reasons for X10 users to get excited over getting an inferior product, asides from the fact that we'll be getting the features we should have had all along. It's great for the X9 users of course, they get a whole load of new features. X10 users get a bunch of new old features. Basically if X9 has it, so should X10. The same is not true the other way around because that is why X10 costs more.
Nobody has said here that there shouldn't be a migration (though I'm sure we all have our personal opinions on the matter). But really, what does X9 offer that X10 users should be jumping out of our seats about?

The main reason I bought X9 was because it is possible to use mods. Had a bit more expandability. Because it is open source. If you're an X10 user, this is one of the few reasons you'd want X9 (stability and polish aside). When the migration comes, if I'm not mistaken, the source for X10 will also be released. If that's the case, I don't need X9 anymore. So what is there to get excited about?

My personal opinion is that only the X10 users should get the migration free, the X9 users should get it at a discount. Otherwise, X9 users get X10 for free (and it's worth $70) while X10 users get X9 for free (which already is free).
Of course, the X9 users will object to this idea since they have the most to gain from the migration...

Actually that statement is 100% false, not to long ago fpsc x9 was $70 too, most of the people that bought it paid $70 so its the same thing plus i'm sure you would like some of the x9 features.

As far as FPSC goes as I understand whats happening X9 and X10 merge into one product which will see FPSC forward into any future it has.

1 FPSC product. 1 FPSC source. Thats the whole point as far as TGC are concerned as I understand it. Thats the overiding benefit for TGC in as much as Lee and TGC can concentrate efforts on one FPSC in the future and save much unecessary waste of their resources on this particular product in their wide range.

As I'm not TGC I may be wrong of course.

What will and wont work with it. Well that wont be known until its released.
